Local Businesses Support the Starr Trust over Christmas

7th January 2016While the Starr Trust team were on their Christmas holidays, the local community continued to support us.On the 11 December, the Halifax Bank, George Street, Hove, took part in the national jumper day with their staff wearing their Christmas jumpers and collecting for the Starr Trust (pictured). They also held a raffle, cake sale and various other activities all day with many local shops donating prizes and supporting this event. They raised an amazing £300 which they have generously price matched to £600.Elliotts Estate Agents in Church Road, Hove, donated £50 to the Starr Trust every time they valued a house in December when a special code was quoted. They also raised a fabulous £300.The lovely customers of Santander in George Street, Hove, have been donating all their unwanted foreign currency which was then converted into a fantastic £80.We are very grateful for all the support that we have from the businesses in Brighton and Hove.
