Many schools like to raise money for good causes. Fundraising is a great way to involve students in community projects and to connect them to a world outside their every day experience. Many thousands of pounds are raised every year by schools supporting charities and young people are enthusiastic advocates of worthy causes around the world.
Since founding the Starr Trust we have been passionate about connecting with schools to make the experience of fundraising even more valuable for students. We were very interested in the idea of connecting young people in the UK with young people in Developing Countries so that each can gain something valuable from the experience.
Starr Pioneers develops social entrepreneurship skills in young people by connecting them to a charity working in a Developing Country and local business mentors.
