Cooking for the Starrs

The Starr Trust are pleased to announce that for the third year running, City College Brighton are hosting a cooking competition to raise funds to support local young people.

‘Cooking for the Starrs’ at the college’s City Restaurant in Pelham Street Brighton, and sponsored by Hilton Metropole, is being held over three evenings, on the 5th 12th and 19th June.

Diners are in for a treat as six up and coming chefs from the college go head to head to compete for the best five course menu.
The chefs are being mentored by Michelin star and 4 AA Rosettes holder Matt Gillan of South Lodge Hotel.

Proceeds from the evening will go to the Starr Trust. Tracey Narvaez from the Trust says “Last year’s one night event was so successful and we had so many more people wanting to come than we had tables for. This year we are increasing the number of evenings the event is being held on so more people can experience what a fantastic event this is”.

Tickets cost £25 for the first two evenings, and £35 for the final. To book tickets contact or telephone 07724 914253.
