Starr Water Wars 2019

We are delighted to be holding our popular ‘Starr Water Wars Challenge’ for the second year running with local children’s charity Rockinghorse, so come and make a splash at this exhilarating multi-watersport event at Hove Lagoon.
Starr Water Wars will invite 20 teams of 4 to go head to head in some fantastic fun water sports including Giant Paddle Board, Kayaking, Raft Building and an exciting Finale! Entry is £350 per team of 4 and includes all food, drinks, T-shirts and medals.
Local businesses Airsprung, Beales Department Stores, Green People, Gemini Print and Hairy Dog Brewery are sponsors for the event but there are plenty of other sponsorship opportunities available. Thanks also to ABC Marquees for donating a marquee.
Our Fundraising Manager Rosie says “this is a chance for local businesses to compete against each other whilst fundraising for us! For those businesses who don’t wish to join in, there will be some great advertising opportunities so please do get in touch and sign up”.
This fun family friendly event runs throughout the day. The lovely Guy Lloyd from BBC Radio Sussex will be our compère and DJ for the day and will give out prizes to the winning teams. Hove Lagoon Watersports will also be providing yummy food.
